Janice Cottingham

Janice has wanted to be a children’s author since she was 8 years old. She recalls Mrs. Osrun’s third grade class, at the Shipley School, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. There Janice developed her love for reading and creating stories.

Janice was raised and born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and it’s surrounding suburbs where she graduated from Lower Merion High School. After high school Janice attended college in Virginia. Then, she set off to explore the world!

Certified Life Coach, Neuro Linguistically Practitioner (NLP), Volunteer Sexual Assault Victim Advocate, Assist trained Suicide Prevention Volunteer, Red Cross Volunteer, Early Childhood Educator, author, and mother. Janice lives her happy, busy life in Pordenone, Italy.

Over the past 22+ years Janice has lived and worked in Italy, Germany, and Korea along with her 10 children.

Janice continues to help in her community while teaching as a Literacy Language Arts Interventionist on a military base.
